We designed a scalable cold aisle containment system that enabled the client to support average rack loads of 7.7kW with peaks up to 11kW. A dual electrical distribution path was installed, using N+1 UPS to eliminate single points of failure.

Cooling was managed via chilled water systems with elevated temps, plus LPA-free cooling for stability. The design included 4 x 6MVA UPSs and a 36MVA generator set, all linked to secure SSE utility supply.

The installation was staged using “soft-landing” techniques to ensure seamless handover and zero disruption to ongoing operations.
