WXT1 represents our client’s first UK data centre – a landmark development on a 33-acre site in Cheshunt, designed with sustainability at its core. The facility is engineered to reduce emissions through the use of air-based cooling and will recover off-site heat to repurpose for local homes and businesses, targeting 90% carbon-free operations.

Gloster Global were engaged to deliver a comprehensive package of electrical and mechanical works to support the rollout of our client’s AI-led data infrastructure. The scope covered high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage systems, including resilient distribution, redundancy, and integration of client-supplied equipment.

Operating within a live and high-security site, our teams coordinated across multiple disciplines to ensure precise execution, while meeting stringent client specifications and programme deadlines.
